Quinta de Valle Longo, located in the municipality of Tabuaço next to the river Douro at the mouth of the river Tedo, is situated in the Cima Corgo sub-region and boasts 12 hectares of vineyards. With vineyard-filled terraces, it offers idyllic and captivating views as far as the eye can see, as if in a dream. The Quinta was restructured in the late 1980s and only three grape varieties were sown: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. These grapes are classified as "A", produce year after year, grapes of excellent quality, with a very own identity. The grapes planted on the traditional terraces along the slopes of the Quinta produce the renowned DOC Douro and DOC Porto wines, marketed under the Quinta de VALLE LONGO brand.
